I've owned a lot of different cabs and speaker configurations, nothing I really hated, just didn't prefer them.

Best cab and configuration is my oversized, ported KRANK Revolution 412.

I removed the stock front loaded 120 watt Eminence V12 Legends and all the dampening material on the inside, except for the back panel a' la the UberKab.

I then rear loaded 2 x Chinese V30s in the top, for their cutting mids and spicy top end cut.
In the bottom I rear loaded 2 x WGS Vet30s in the bottom for their slightly thicker low-end punch, smoother mids and top end.

I also rewired the speakers in series at 16ohms.

My favorite so far has been the one in my sig, it's a home made vertical angled 2×12 built to the same dimensions as Mesa's, orange stain and Marshall large checker grillcloth. Speakers are WGS Et65 and Vet30

My two favorite speakers are Blackback G12H30s and Eminence Wizards. I have a straight Marshall 4x12 (pretty sure it's from '78) loaded with those H30s, and it sounds absolutely amazing with my 2555. I've hardly played through it in the last decade because it weighs a ton, I hate moving it, and I found Emi Wizards.

I replaced the 4x12 with an Earcandy Buzzbomb 2x12 in mid-2007 because I was tired of hauling the heavy cab around. Initially I loaded it with a pair of Weber C1265s, and they were good but not really what I wanted. I replaced those with a set of Emi Private Jacks, but they were a bit bass-heavy and dull / loose. I ordered a set of Wizards on a whim because they were supposed to sound like H30s and I was good friends with a GC manager who was able to get them for $56 each. I loaded them in the Buzzbomb, and the rest is history. I also have an Egnater Rebel 112X loaded with a Wizard that I use with my Mini Jube.

My Silver Jubilee straight front 4x12 reloaded with reissue 25 watt greenbacks and some sound absorbing material on the back panel sounds great. There is something about a Greenback loaded 4x12. It is, however, not very portable and in a smaller venue there is the directional thing to deal with. So I discovered these:

That's just a photo I googled up, but these solve the portability and directional sound problem. They sound great to my ears. I load them with V30s and/or 25 watt Greenbacks, although I'm thinking about trying the G12h30/V30 mix option. Out of production though.

Nothing much to produce there... you could pay any number of people to replicate it and have one fabricated and ready in as few as 2-3 business days

Simple split-back port, pretty straightforward construction

All combo amps.

My only keeper is a Randall RT50C. Good sound and serial FX loop. Don't like the weird MIDI-like connection cable for the footswitch, stopping me from controlling the amp with my Helix.

I also own a Yamaha DXR8 PA speaker. Not decided whether I will keep it or not.

Previously owned:
Roland digital modelling amp JMD501 - Didn't like the sound at all.
Marshall MA50C - Sounded good if I put an EQ pedal in the front. Didn't like the parallel FX loop.

Put a Celestion G12 in my Katana 50 (very tight squeeze) and the little amp came to life...big, full and in your face sound. Found it here:

Just fyi: ALL 12" celestion models are named g12-something

That thing is an H30

Haven't compared very many different combinations really,,,,mainly just the "standard" mixes between V30, GB, t75, K100/85, c90/cl80.

For my mostly home-hobbyist requirements my favorite setup is recto-212 with avatarK100-212.
They can be stacked either way (with the avatar on top it looks goofy though), but I've grown to like the recto on top better.
Mostly though I prefer them both horizontal or one horizontal one vertical. They both have rubber-feet on bottom and side.
Both vertical and spread-out sounds massive also. It's almost like hearing two separate guitarist,,,,but not quite.

In this new sad millenium of ours, that sounds like "extensive experience" lol...

Level 1: sad generic combo speakers
Level 2: sad generic cheapo cab speakers
Level 3: Celestion t75's
Level 4: some other MiC Celestions
*Level 5*: Variety of popular Celestions, including vintage and UK ones
...
Level 6: corksniffery, familiar with entire catalogue

...very few people get past Chinese T75's. Even pros.

Started combining speakers/cabs back in the mid-90s after reading an article in which the guys from Carcass were saying that was how they got the massive tone on the Necroticism album.
That album still stands out to me for it's crushing tone and groove-riffs. Easily my favorite Carcass ever,,,,,(Incarnated Solvent Abuse is probably in my top 10 tracks of all time for the heavies).

Currently I have one last cab-project to complete then I'm retired on that front.
Late 90s rectifier black 412 w/slant-baffle in straight-cab shell, silver-piping all stock; Keeping the broken-in V30s in the top slots and loading either c90s or k100s in the bottoms.
Probably go c90s just so I'll have more possible speaker combinations running it with my other cabs, and of course that will keep it all still mesa-branded UK model.
Running it along with the k100 212 might just be super-thick and nasty!

Early 80's Greenbacks in an blonde early 60's Fender 2x12 - never should've sold it.

Fane 25's in a Laney 4x12 that I had in the late 80's, think it was part of Rush's backline at one time. Can't remember for sure if it was Rush or someone else? That cab was great! Everything you plugged into it sounded better for it

These days I really like the Emi's I have used especially the mix of Ragin Cajuns and Ramrods I have in my 4x10.

I have a PV 412MS cab with Sheffields in it that really works well.

I had a old Univox cab that weighed an ungodly amount but had 4 CTS Alnico speakers in it that were pretty damn good. You can score them cheap and they really work with Plexi type stuff

I have a Trace Elliott Bonneville 4X10 that I have changed out the bottom two Celestions for a pair of 10 inch 16 ohm Weber Alnico California speakers. I like mixing Alnico and Ceramic magnet speakers in multi speaker cabs. Sounds fantastic.

I have a 1968 Fender Vibro Champ that I did a 10 inch speaker mod (Ceramic) sitting atop a 4X6 speaker cab loaded with 2 vintage 6 inch Alnico speakers and two Ceramic magnet speakers.

I have a 1969 Fender Bandmaster Reverb head atop of a Carvin Bel Air (chassis removed and replaced with a Peavey Rockmaster preamp) loaded with a JBL MI 12 speaker and the original Carvin speaker.

I have guitar builds with pickups configurations with Alnico and Ceramic for the qualities they bring.
