Planning on trading in my Laney for either a Marshall DSL 50 head, or a 6505+ head. Yea they are totally different and i played both of them the other day, but I wont be able to keep my current Eminence V12 speakers. So, i figured a Governor and a ManoWar (like G12T75) would be a good sounding combo for either in my Splawn 2x12 closed back cab.
Unfortunately, i cant seem to find a manowar or a g12t75 that someone wants to sell USED, at least not any time soon. If anyone has either, give me a shout cause i will be interested. If not, is there any other speaker that would work well with the gov. for high gain sounds? I hear both amps can be bright and piercing, so even with my idea of these two speakers it still may be too bright. I will be keeping my weber beam blockers though, so it will help. Thanks once again guys!
