What strings and picks are y'all using?

done some research, Dunlop produces their strings in Benicia, California, they have their winding machines
Yeah, they make their own. Ernie Ball, GHS, DR, LaBella, Thomastik, and D'Addario (who OEMs Fender's strings, now).

StringJoy, too, but they're much smaller.

Well, that's like saying China and Japan are the same. Depending on who you say that to will determine their method of disposing of you. 😅
Would they be more merciful if I said it to someone from New Jersey or New York?

Tortex or Ultex .88s, either-or, standard shape, strumming GHS Boomers or Nickel Rockers (depends on guitar) for electrics. Dunlop nylons in .73 or .88 strumming D'Addario phosphor bronze or Earthwood Silk & Steels for acoustics. Again, that varies by guitar.

D'addario EXL's 9-42 on all my (Fender scale) guitar's. EXL 10-42 on short scale one's (which I have very few of..)

As for picks ..mostly Dunlop 3.0mm Big Stubby's (either the transparent purple or the opaque grey one's)...occasionally Ultex (transparent yellow) Jazz III's.

Ernie Ball 10-46.
26” scale guitar, tuned to D, with full recessed Floyd Rose, and Edwards behind the nut customised lock.
Strings feel slinky to me, but most guitarists have to put my guitar down after 2 minutes.
Generally Tortex 1mm, or slightly lighter these days. Whatever the green ones are.
I’ve developed a much lighter touch, now I’m using more responsive amps.IMG_6570.webp
