Re: What to expect from a quilt maple body?
Perhaps i am missing the point here, but why not but a plain (but good quality) piece of maple for much cheaper, and then buy a much smaller amount of quilt maple to use as a veneer. It will look the same in the end, and either way you will have an all maple body.
