Whats hotter output C5 / Demon? Wondering if a demon is hotter or a C5?

I'm pretty sure the Custom series are all hotter than the demon. It's described as a medium output pickup, wheras the Custom series are high output.

The Demon is sort of a middle ground between the PAFs and the Customs. The C5 is definatly a good deal hotter than the Demon.

C5 is definitely hotter. As others have mentioned, the Demon is in between the PAF's and the Custom series on the output scale.

The Demon is a medium output HB. It's designed to be used with high gain after the pup ... it will not slam the preamp section of a guitar amp without help from an OD pedal.

I have a Demon in the neck and a C5 in the bridge of my wonderfull guitar and it is a good match witch confirm that the C5 is a lot hotter than the Demon , and they balance wonderfully ouput wise and in tone as well ( same kind of EQ lot of treeble , precise mids and good basses .)
Those p-u are a wonder in a full toned guitar but not in a guitar that lack of mids .
