What's on Your Gas List?

What's everybody got on their GAS list? Here's what I want. Some of them so bad that I've got blue-balls:

Squier Classic Vibe Custom Telecaster

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

I don't really need more guitars. Maybe trade something, for example I haven't got used to my seven string Schecter neck and I'm not certain if I even have use for the extra string.

I could use an LP and I'm in the process of getting one. Another strat would be nice for different flavors. A HH shredder would be nice, maybe a high end Ibby RG.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

There really isn't a whole lot that I want guitar-wise. A guy on CL has been trying to unload a 12-string Strat ('00s model in LPB) for the last few months, and I'd take him up on it if I had the extra $$$ lying around. Other than that, I'm looking for a few pedals and I really want an Oktavamod MK-012 & K47H capsule head.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

Gibson ES-295
Gibson Flying V
Fender Bass VI
Gibson '59 Les Paul
Gibson '54 Les Paul
Rickenbacker 1996
Gretsch...

...I need to stop. I'm going to go over a cliff.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

That Gretsch is interesting.

I'm GAS'ing for an F-hole. Either an EPI ES-339 Pro, or Dot, or a Peavey JF-1. Fortunately, my favorite local mom & pop music store has them all in stock, so I can go do a hands-on comparison. (But I gotta unload something first.) :D

For my Jax bro's, I'm talking about Kevin's Musician Superstore on Lenox.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

I have no GAS. All the gits I want cost thousands and are just a fantasy.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

On top of my GAS list there's a Gretsch white falcon, I still don't know how I'll be paying for it, but I sure want one so bad ! Next, more affordable, I'd fancy a cheap Gibson….something under 2000$ would do the trick…. a LP studio or something similar…I also gotta lay my hands on that sweet Squier Bass VI….

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

Yeah, no true GAS for me either, I'd actually like to sell some guitars. On the dream list:

Martin 0-28V
Martin 000-15SM
Gibson Les Paul 59RI
Gibson ES-335 63RI

Also have this idea for a Hardtail Fender Strat in full pre-CBS RW/Sunburst/aged parts but with some hot single coil stacks under the aged covers.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

I think if I'm going to ever add anything to what I've got, it's probably going to be a Martin 000-18GE or a M36. I dig my 000-15M a lot, but it'd be something else to have one of Martin's vintage reproductions.

I got gas bad for this charvel spectrum i am hoping to trade for my schecter. Also i feel like a little tube amp would be cool.

Nice choice! :bigok: The vintage series are amazing guitars, Golden Eras are over the top.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

Right now I'm interested in a number of used MIJ guitars. Mostly older Ibanez, Jackson and charvel models. If I had to put a guitar at the top of the "do want" list, it would probably be the 94 dinky reverse.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

Aside from a PRS Custom 22 (not any time soon)

Some pickups, electronics and hardware for my red strat (which will happen later this summer)

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

^^^ yeah she's on mine too... or something close anyway lol

I really wanting a couple new strats and teles...

Custom Vibe Tele
J5 tele
HH or HSH Strat.. still undecided on the trem though.

BBuuutttt... I think I'm definitely going to half to get rid of the LP and the Ibby to make it happen.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

I've got most of the guitars I want at the moment, other than a Jeff Beck strat (surf green) and '72 Tele Custom RI (tobacco). Probably more amp GAS if anything. Namely, I'd dig a nice Orange Rockerverb 100 half stack.

But no urgency at all. I already have enough problem committing to one setup for recording...

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

I've been gassing for a relic Strat, and I'm building one.

It's a Fender Mexican Road Worn body and neck. Coming soon will be a Parchment loaded D. Allen pickguard.

On my future wish list are a Tele, and a acoustic guitar. I sold mine during my divorce, never replaced them.

Re: What's on Your Gas List?

Luckily as broke as I am, I have enough guitars. The only guitar that I still have gas for is building a guitar. That and I would really like to be able to afford a set of Whole Lotta Humbuckers.

OOOOOOO... I'd love that, with a rosewood board... always wanted the silver one
