what's the best way to...?

make a pickup set up for direct mount fit with a pickup ring?

The mounting holes are larger than the screws used with mounting rings. How would I go about filling them in to make it work in the best possible way?

I've seen people talk about this before. Can someone post a how-to?

There are a couple of different ways to do it. I've done it by filling the holes with a really strong super glue, then redrilling the correct-sized hole through the glue. Another way is to glue a nut that matches the diameter of the screw to the mounting tabs.
