Whats your favorite colour?

Hi guys just wondering whats your favorite colour on a guitar? AND WORST colour?

Favorite:
Mines personally has always been black i just the dark appeal of black. But recently im kind of really liking those darker sunbursts seen on gibson les pauls, well i think its called vintage sunburst or honey burst but i think they look pretty!

Worst:
I was never a fan of heritage cherry sunbursts. They look great and all but the just make me think"80's hair metal".

My favorite color is orange.

I really love red and orange on guitars and amps. Worst color would probably be dark green or tie dye.

I'm huge on Honey Burst, Burnt Cherry Burst (Mix Cherry Sunburst with Tabacco Burst = Edge Dark Brownish Red), Natural or Vintage Tint

And of course I am partial to every shape and type of black

My favorite color is blue so naturally my dream guitar had to be blue. Although I have to admit dark colors really tend to fade into the background in live situations. For this reason I have to admit I've recently become a fan of white/white pickguard/maple neck.

LOVE:

Transparent Cherry Red /Burgundy (like on an SG)
Tobacco, Red, Wine and Orange Suburst finishes (like on a Les Paul or old Strat)
Honey/Butterscotch natural wood (satin or gloss)
Off-White/Cream (like an SG Custom)


HATE:

ANY Day-Glo colors (an 80s' thing primarily)
Lime Green (reminds me of bad leisure suits)
PINK or CANARY YELLOW :saeek:
Purple

Favourite is blue.

Least favourite has to be most shades of green... especially green flame or quilt tops. Really not into those.

my those are very bright biu....why do you look like your having a hernia in 2/3 faces? fiber is clearly needed haha

i prefer the hernia faces... the other face makes me feel very sexually uncomfortable...

My tastes follow yours very closely. My favorite non-solid, is Tobacco Burst.
After that, its a close tie between the solids: Black, Red, White, and Off-White.

There's a couple other colors that I've "grown" to like: Curly-Blue, for instance.

Dislikes: really, just any guitar with tacky-graphics - Like the Zak Wylde thing, the ones with targets, or stripes, etc. I've always thought that EVH's guitars are some of the ugliest of all time. (Love the playing, just not the colors.)

I would have to say....

favourites:
Generally darker reds/greens/blues on quilted or flamed tops... VERY nice IMHO but I've taken a recent liking to more natural colours like the colour of Carvin's new California Carved Top. Something about that finish is so gorgeous

Tobacco sunburst... stupid colours that just look stupid; it varies

wow i was srufing the gibson web site and that ice tea color for their lp standards are gorgeous!

I love satin black, or dark cherry finishes.

I absolutly despise almost every burst of any sort.

Favorites: Shell pink, Seafoam Green, Aqua/Turquoise (found on some 90's MIA teles), Natural Wood but my favorite of all...

SILVERBURST.

Least Favorites: Well, none. There's nothing I wont play or paint my guitar. If I'll paint my guitar pink, I'd paint it any color.
