What's your favorite Fender Tube Amp?

Right now, mine is the Hot Rod Deluxe. IMHO, the clean tones are just as good as any Fender I have heard, and for overdrive/distortion I am using the Duncan Twin Tube Classic with excellent results.

Favorite? Hum ... depends. Probably this order: 1. Tweed Deluxe, 2. Bassman, 3. Deluxe Reverb and 4. Super Reverb. Twin.

Super Reverb, without a doubt. Followed closely by a Vibroverb, and possibly after that a blonde bassman

Princeton Reverb! (Thanks Lew!) You can turn it up and rip at semi-reasonable volumes, and you still get Fender cleans at lower volume settings.

I still want a Tweed Deluxe, BF/SF Bassman and BF Deluxe Reverb...

Twin Reverb overall, though its certainly not the most practical nor does it really give the best bang for the buck.

Still if and when you can crank one, its darn sweet

i'd really like a brown princeton, or a tweed deluxe. Unfortunately, i haven't had the opportunity to actually play alot of the 'holy grail' amps so i'd have to say that the favorite that i've played would be my '66 bassman!

I love the cleans of the Twin. I love the warmth of the Bassman. However, once I get a chance to play through the 5150 III, that'll probably end up being my favorite.

I have a HRD and DO love it, but I'd get a Deluxe Reverb in a heartbeat.

I'd like a DR, but I'd take a Pro Reverb over that...I have a 68 Bassman head on a 4x12 loaded with Celestion G12-65s and I'm pretty happy now.:biglaugh:

Tweed Princeton, is my favorite. I'm also fond of the Deluxe Reverb. Here are my '56 Princeton & '77 Deluxe Reverb.

I agree. Short of that, an old Bassman head. I had a '68 that really was sweet through various spkr configs. I miss it.
