What's you're idea of the best beginner amp that will still sound good and stay around for a while?

Heck yeah. Can't forget about that one. That was my second amp. Our keyboardist/rhythm guitarist has one with a Sheffield speaker and the transtube technology. Killer amp. I used it last Friday after my Marshall went down. It cut through nicely and the tone was not bad at all. I was rather surprised.LesStrat said:Bang/buck solidstate amp: Peavey Bandit 112.
