Just kidding. For me it's living out a dream to work in an environment where I totally believe in the product and use it myself. And the people around me are singularly focused on creating the best quality product at a fair price.

I also think of Seymour the man. I have the privilege of playing in his band and traveling about the world with him. I know his family and, in some ways, I feel like I'm a part of it.

And for those of you who think, "Evan doesn't know how lucky he is," trust me, I do.

Phat-Cats + personality in general. SD pickups are like real friends with real personalities versus generic TV people.

Not sure why but I think it was the first SD pickup I ever heard of.
This was back in the days when such things as humbuckers in single coil size were new fangled things so caught the eye of a young starter such as I was.
Oddly I've never had one, and probably never will, I like my singles as singles and my PAF's big :)

or if its a pickup then for me its the SH-5 Custom... wasnt my first duncan, the 59 was my first too like many but the Custom was the first pickup that made me go "ooooooooo" :headbang:

LOL! I have to tell you guys something. I roomed with Brisk for two nights. I think we were both hung over but he couldn't hang with Jolly, Jeremy and I until 5AM in the morning. He asks me in the hotel room something like this "Where you puking in the shower?". I was like "****ing A man, wouldn't you be if you were drinking all NIGHT AND MORNING with Jolly!?!".

Thats friggin' hilarious because I had a JB in a Paul copy and I thought to myself "Damn, my old B.C. Rich didn't even sound this bad!" LOL:smokin:

The best pickups, the best customer service, the best management (hey, they were smart enough to hire and KEEP MJ), and the best li'l corner in cyberspace.
