Where are the 7 string gibson les pauls?

Hails guys i saw some EPIPHONE les pauls with 7 strings.. but not a GIBSOn les paul
anyone have one or can link me to them?

I don't think Gibson ever did a mass-production 7 string.

Epi, yes. But unless it's a Custom Shop guitar I don't think it exists.

yeah, probably only a built-to-order kinda thing, where ya trade in various body parts in order to obtain one. They did hop on the baritone bandwagon though...

I´ve seen a 36-fret 7-string Explorer (and it was so BUFUGLY even a mother couldn´t have looked at it for more than 10 secs without hurling ), but I honestly think that´s the only 7-string Gibson I´ve ever seen....

NO, IIRC it was a legit Gibson (though I can´t blame them for not admitting it )

GBLP7? I haven't seen one, apart from an odd demo CD. I have a Celestion speaker sound sample CD and it says a number of the reel' dirty in-stomach tracks were played with a guitar called "Gibson Les Paul 7-string"

I believe that the EPI 7-string are discontinued .... atleast it was a Epi 7-string model that did so.

Epiphone has done several things not done by Gibson. The 7 string guitars and the double locking tremolos are initiated by epiphone as an experiment for the Gibson Group and then followed by Gibson itself.
