Where can i buy Seymour Duncan Covers?

I want to put a cover on my JB to warm it up a bit. Anyone know where i could buy the cover online? Or does it fit just a normal cover?

See the other thread about pickup covers. The cover is not going to warm up your JB. 250k pots will though.

If you want to have your pickup covered for cosmetic reasons (I love covered pickups) you should send your pickup to the Duncan Custom shop and they will correctly install a high quality, Duncan approved cover and wax pot it properly.

Different pickups are different sizes with slightly different string spacing. Don't make the mistake of wasting your money on a cover that will be slightly off and may be of inferior quality. And unless the pickup is re-potted after the cover is put on, you may have a problem with squealing or feedback if you use high gain.

Bottom line: no one is going to do a better job on a Duncan pickup than Duncan. :burnout:

Or.....you can check out the vault. I use Gearjoneser's method of wax potting. I cover and wax pot my own pickups, and his method is Superb !!!! Send him a PM, and he'll gladly run it by you. It's very simple, and kinda fun, actually.

I use either real Duncan covers or the Allparts covers. Both work equally well, IMO. Lew
