I'm looking for a source for the black plastic mounting rings for mini humbuckers. I need the style found on '60s Epiphones and '70s SG Deluxe models.
All I've been able to find from the aftermarket suppliers are black versions of the Les Paul Deluxe style rings that fit the P90 shaped routs. These are NOT what I need. I need the rings that have four screw holes that attach it to the top just like the regular sized rings, and are rectangular in shape, are flat along the long sides, and have a rounded radius along the short sides.
I know they're still being used by Epiphone on their Flamekat and Riviera models. I doubt they're an exact match for the vintage rings (with the casting numbers, etc.), but I suspect that they're dimensionally the same which would be fine for my purposes. If there are no aftermarket suppliers making these, I'll have to get them from Epiphone, but how do I go about contacting Epiphone for parts?
Eric
