where can i get guitars with stripped out electronics

Today i saw a few guitars hanging in the shop that didnt have any electronic in em. I think it would be real cool to put my own electronics into an already built guitar. Is there any place that sells something like this? I checked stewmac and warmoth... nothing though.

Ebay!!!! Buy an older guitar with electronics in it, through them in a trash can (they probally sound like trash anyway) and start there. You can find guitars on ebay that are already gutted also.
