Re: where can i get pickup magnets, bobbins, wire

Do u guys know where i can find the information on this books or internet sites?

Re: where can i get pickup magnets, bobbins, wire

Note also that you're comparing measurements in inches to AWG. The formula for conversion is:

awg_formula.png

Thats "92" raised to the power of the expression in paranthesis.

So 42 AWG = .0025" and 43 AWG = .0022"

Re: where can i get pickup magnets, bobbins, wire

Thanks alot guys for the help

So no one make these sizes .0026, .0027, .0028, .0029, .0030 Formvar or Enamel pickup wire ?

So 42 AWG = .0025" and 43 AWG = .0022"

I don't get it fender never used .0025" and .0022" in the 50's or 60's with tele's or strats

So how would u even get the wire to even wind the pickup for relicing or reissue them?
