ok so i blew a fuse...

i need to get out and buy one very soon as i have a gig TONIGHT (blew it yesterday.. here is the information i suppose is needed.

this is what is written right next to the fuse on (on the circuit board):

T 630 mAL = 230 v
T 1.6 AL = 120 v

the fuse that was in the amp said T 1.6 AL = 120 v ...im assuming this is what i need.. i didn't see any amp ratings on it so i dont think these are normal fuses?

where can i get one QUICK!?

thanks so much, in advance.

Go to a good hardware store. There's got to be a big Ace or True Value by you somewhere. Bring yours with you to match them properly.

Update. upon further research.. i know the fuse i need

T 1.6E 250 volt

the t stands for "time delay" and the 1.6 E stands for 1.6 amps

would i be able to get these at a place like that.. if not where could i get it TODAY

thanks

Should be there if it's a good store, if not try an electronics supply in the area.

I hit Radio Shack...they've got a huge selection of fuses.

Another vote for Radio Shack. On one of their walls should be about 20 drawers full of small electronics parts. Look around in the fuse drawers, they'll be there.

Radio Shack by me is worthless, though they never fail to try and stuff a cell up my .....
