Use a y Kilo Ohm resistor to turn your x Kilo Ohm pot into one with 100 Kilo ohms. x and y have to satisfy the following equation:

1/100 = 1/x + 1/y

Might be a better idea anyways...i got tons of spare resistors layin around, How should I hook 'em up to get the desired effect?

solder the resistor to the outer lugs, this way you would wire it parallel to the pot.

I believe ratshack has 100K's and I know our local electronics houses have 'em too.
