Where to place Morley volume pedal

My very first volume pedal I bought for 65 shipped (Morley Mini Volume)

Was wondering where to place it on my board ? does it sound best after dirt ?

Depends on what you are after. If you want to just raise and lower the volume with the least change in tone and crunch level yep run it after the dirt, if you want to open up and clean up your tone by using the volume pedal like you do with a guitar volume control drop it before the dirt boxes.
I prefer after the dirt that way I can still use my guitar volume to clean and open up the tone but control the volume out front off the volume pedal.

ok I want it as an overall volume level change without changing amount of dirt..So I will place it after dirt.. thanks !!

Theirs two main spots people put them either at the beginning or at the end of the signal chain. Like Ascension said if you place after the dirt or at the very end of the chain you can lower and raise the vol of your actual tone with what ever effect you have on. If you place it at the beginning like right after the guitar then it acts the same as a guitars vol knob and you can clean up your dirty tone. If I had a vol pedal I would run it at the end but try at different spots and see what works for you.

+1 that is where I have had my Morley for years. I don't want to buffer my tone just control the volume. How do you like the mini so far? I am in love with mine.

Oh the deal did not work out on TGP so I'm gonna buy one from my local music store. I will post my thoughts as soon as I try it out!
