Where’s your trem cavity cover?
If your guitar has a Floyd or a more traditional Strat trem, it probably came with a rectangular plastic cover to protect the springs and various what-not. Do you know where the cover is?
I knew I wasn’t very good about this, but the other day it occurred to me that I have seven such guitars sitting out, and the only one that has the cover in place is a Squier with holes that give you access to the tension screws. The rest of the covers are... somewhere...? I’ve seen a couple of them around, and I think there’s a whole jackpot on a shelf in the closet. Screws? Yeah, right.
So fork ‘em over. Where are they? Whadya do with ‘em?
