which Bridge pup???????

i have decided on A2p for the neck, so i am looking for a bridge pickup, but i am also gonna be coil-splitting on the bridge so what pickup would suit me best.

one more thing i like to play led zep, aerosmith, GnR etc.(classic rock)

CC is the Custom Custom with an A2 magnet
The C5 similar to the CC but has an A5 magnet...

You're welcome....Spend some time on Seymour's site under F&Qs and listening to the pickup sound clips...Also look at and compare the specs on the CC and the C5...The JB might interest you also?

I have the C5 paired with the APH in my Hamer. It does all the tones you mentioned and it sounds good split as well.

I figured the C5 or the CC would both be great and they have enough ooomph to be split also.

either the C5 or CC will work, but in mahogany, I like the crispness and big bottom of the C5 a bit more. In maple though, the CC is king.

APH set is great for a classic rock!
You may like a tighter Duncan Custom (SH-5) for the bridge! It got more ballz than CC & C5. As many say, you can do everything with this pup, from blues to death metal! Splitting & cleans are decent too.

I assume, your guitar is an all-mahogany set-in / neckthrough body type or similar.

Little notice, APH is a low output Alnico II mag that will have smooth overdriven sound with sweet cleans, while Custom (SH-5) is a high output ceramic mag that will have compressed dynamics and aggressive character. Which is good for distorted cutting through sounds, not too good for the cleans though!

See, which ones may suit you better in the bridge!

The Demon in my SG X sounds real twangy when tapped, almost like a tele. Might be a better choice with its 10k output compared to the 14k customs. And its very responsive to tone and volume adjustments on the guitar.

BTW, I play very heavy blues metal with it. Think COC, ZZ top, Sabbath and Danzig....

The Demon is a very toppy pickup and I found 2 fixes for it.....Go to all screws on both bobbins and or switch to an A2 or A3 magnet...

You have to be careful in a bright guitar with a Demon because it's like a 59 but it has slightly more mids.The way this pickup is eq'd makes it almost like the lows are pulled back a bit,but the higher mids make the pickup pretty bright...It's also a very articulate pickup and it cleans up very well on the volume roll back.I have this pickup in my black strat with a pair of APS2s....Mine has screws that replaced the little allen heads and I went back to the A5...
