You run two 9v batteries in series. All you need to do is wire it up and find some place to stick the extra battery (or have you're guitar routed and a double battery housing installed).

Thanks for all the info. Got some thinking to do, either the ZW camo or Custom Shop like ZW white LP but no bullseye. I got a quote and it is around the samp price range as the ZW guitar. I would prefer the Custom Shop LP but then I would be out from playing guitar 4-5 months, maybe more.

I believe this is what you do....
1. desolder the red contact of the existing batt. clip from the prong of the output jack
2. solder the white contact of the new batt. clip to the red one of the existing clip
3. solder the red contact of the new clip to the prong of the output jack
4. shield the wire-to-wire joints with copper/electrical tape
I might have the colours mixed up, but that's definitely the right procedure and the positions of the contacts should be right.
