Which humbucker for HSS strat and country player?

I play in a country/ classic rock band. I am putting together an HSS strat with 2 texas specials, which I love, but am looking for suggestions for the bridge pickup. Every HSS ive tried in the past, the humbucker has been way more powerful than the singles. Im wanting something that matches up volume wise a lot better. Do you have any suggestions?

I'd look at a '59, Seth, or Antiquity 'bucker if you want something low output that would match well with single coils. I don't have any experience with what the Texas specials sound like, so I can't narrow it down any more than that.

I would, as I often do with Hss strats, suggest a PATB-3. The it's quite open and vintage sounding, but if you hit it hard it'll compress nicely for country sounds. With matching sounds you just have to either heavily lower the bridge pickup or raise the neck and middle, you're never going to get it quite even but with an HSS strat you learn to love the volume boost eventually.

If black isnt your colour (thats all the PATB-3 comes in..) then a Seth would probably be my second bet. Pearly gates apparently match perfectly with texas specials tonally, but I personally haven't tried them so take it with a grain of salt.

You might really like a Jazz Bridge Model. If you don't believe me, ask Seymour. It's one of his top suggestions for HSS strat players who hybrid pick or play country, because it's got all the attack and sounds natural and balanced with singles.

Jazz would be my first choice, PG+ second if you like a bit of a kick when switching to the bridge. IMHO, the Demon can also sub for the PG+.

DiMarzio Fred, without a doubt....

I installed one in a past guitar and did not miss a lick between it and my existing Tele. In fact, because the guitar that had the Fred in it was easier to play, I played it instead of me Telecaster.
