traynor tcv40wr vs kustom 36
And you can keep the whole Traynor vs. Kustom situation to one thread. Honestly.
my apologies. i didn't know you were the one who determines what people can and can't post. please forgive my ignorance.
Well as the others said before neither is gonna be really that great for metal.
You want tight metal sound. get an Engl Screamer 50 combo. Judging by the prices they should be rather close together and if not the extra saving should be wirth the difference in tone(not saying the others are bad, just not really metal)
Woah Loserchief, those are like $1200. But I think that's the way to go. I do not know agent007's age, but in general I think when you're young and can save up money without having to pay bills, gas (to a point), etc. you should buy the guitar stuff you really want. It's so much more fulfilling, to me, to buy something after working long and hard for it, and when you're young and can dedicate time to an after school/summer job is the best time. Once you hit college, you'll be paying for books, gas for a car, etc. but you'll have all the guitar stuff you want. And if you stop playing metal, you could sell that Engl for a great amount of money and get another great amp that suits your style.
Sorry for that. the European pricing for those amps is closer together than it seems on the US market. A screamer might be more expensive but it has what you want and with four channels it also offers a lot more to explore.
sounds good, but i've decided that i'm going to save up, trade my traynor in in one year, and probably buy a mesa boogie or soldano.
