Some of the details visible in your photograph are "unusual". Going to need sharper images and plenty of 'em.

unfortunately this is the only image sorry :( I don't actually own the guitar (yet) but this one image is all I can get

Re: Which model prs is this? How much is it worth?

Has the vendor offered a written description of any sort? (Set versus screwed-on neck? Coil Split switching?)

Several of the features of the guitar in the photograph resemble known PRS models BUT not necessarily the same model. (Custom, CE, Swamp Ash Special.) Further, some of the hardware looks plain wrong - even for an SE series model. Some of it is positioned slightly wrongly. Even allowing for wide angle lens aberrations, the overall outline is wrong in several places. With the possible exception of the short run US-made Korina stuff, a spread of timber with that much colour variation would never get past PRS QA.

From that one pic it feels like it's a copy to me.

Yep same here was about to post a real caution on this one. It just doesn't look right bro that body seam in particular is a huge red flag!! I'm about 85% here that that one is a Chinese knock off fake!!

Re: Which model prs is this? How much is it worth?

Yup.
That mismatched body wood seems wrong.

PC
I agree 100% and if there was a PRS built with that much of a mismatch can't see it not being a solid color to hide that.
My advice is not walk but run away FAST on that one!
Here is my 07 Custom 24 BTW

Re: Which model prs is this? How much is it worth?

I'll vote fake as well for several reasons.

1. The knob position looks wrong
2. The volume / tone knobs are not standard PRS, so the knobs have been replaced at least.
3. Very mis-matched multi-piece body
4. The pickups look like cheap Asian imports with two slug coils
5. I've never seen a PRS with a plain-topped body and figured headstock veneer. Plain-top PRS's usually have a black painted headstock.

Re: Which model prs is this? How much is it worth?

The top of the headstock looks wrong. I'm voting counterfeit.

Re: Which model prs is this? How much is it worth?

wrong nut and strap buttons too.

Fake.

Avoid.

I've never seen a Custom 22 using parts or wood like that in this configuration. A lot of small details just don't look quite right.

I'd avoid it.

Duh, the obvious part... Three screws on the truss rod cover. Those only have one screw on real PRS's.

Thanks everyone :) I'm going to walk away from this one, your help is greatly appreciated. The seller gave very vague information about the guitar.

Good choice man.
That one was a Chinese fake POS not a real PRS.
A good used PRS CU 24 can be found under a grand if you look for it so when you get ready yell and we will see what we can do to help.

Your best bet next time is to contact the manufacture. They should be able to help...

I agree with everyone. Did any of you notice the shape of the lower horn? Doesn't look right to me.

This is a fake, and not even a very good one! But if it sounds good and plays well and it's under $400, you might consider it.
