Which Seymour Duncan Pickup Is This?

The pickup has Seymour Duncan's signature (stamp?) on the bottom. It has a sticker that says "Bridge" and a sticker with "02026887". The DC resistance is 8.5K and it has braided lead. Bobbins are double black.

It sounds huge in my McCarty. Very round and bright. So far, I like it.

I know they normally do, but this one doesn't. I'm wondering if it is an Antiquity.

Welcome to the SD Forum!!:)

I'd say it's most likely an Antiquity. I would say a Seth Lover, but those have both his and Seth's signature stamped on the back.

Thanks Jolly!

Savage Distortion, I think you win the prize. The lead is just the braided wire and the bobbins are wrapped in paper tape, not the stuff used on most other Duncan pups. That tag looks like a serial number and you are correct it starts similarly. My cousin thought it was a Seth Lover, but I remembered those had both signatures. It must be an Antiquity.

Thanks folks!
