Which tube screamer?

I'm getting one, and I was wondering which model I should go for. I play Iron Maiden and have a Marshall 9200/JMP-1 combo. And oh yeah, I will probably get it modded by the way.

I have an analog man standard modded ibanez ts-9. He does a 'silver' modification as well, in which I am quite interested but can offer zero insight.
I love mine, but I can't play 'two minutes to midnight', not even on my best day...

That's my favourite song to play, most likely. I play it quite well. But there are different kinds of mods? Crap, there is so much to consider. And what's an analog man standard tube screamer?

Get a TS-9 and ask a good forumite here, John (STRATDELUXER) to mod it for you. I hear he works wonders.

Hey John -

I like my TS-7 a lot after you modded it, especially with the "Hot" setting on. How does it compare to the TS-9 with that switch set on "TS-9"? Is it a reasonable imitation of the TS-808 after your mods?

I know you were surprised by how cool the TS-7 sounded on "Hot", so thought folks might want to know...

The reviews don't lie. It's the best tube screamer I've played to date. I'll sell mine for cheaper than the reviewers. It is absolutely mint and I can provide as many pictures as you'd like.

The only reason I'm selling it is because my $300 Dual Drive beats it out, but that's all tube screamers including other boutiques like the Klon.
