While I'm known for playing Dean Cadillacs lately...

Re: While I'm known for playing Dean Cadillacs lately...

I had a nice ‘81 Standard with a maple neck. Put a SDHB at the bridge. [emoji3]

These aren’t mine, but it’s a fun photo (belong to a friend of mine. He has more! Lol)

The LP with the Explorer neck is awesome!!
Did you post that once before? I feel like I’ve seen that guitar before (or one like it anyway).

That’s the Aldo Nova model.

I may have posted it before. Not sure if he still has it. My friend got divorced a while back and his lawyer told him to spend his money in the bank. Instead he bought like 20 Les Pauls. Mostly from the early 80s. The black Custom was a ‘74.

He’s been selling them as the prices increase.

Mow it's been recycled to be the Joe Bonnamassa "Bonabyrd" model. My how times are a changin'.

Goes to prove that you don’t have to be a good player to get your own model. Lol

You're known for one thing and one thing only. Pooping your pants and wearing Gene Simmons branded diapers.

Mmmm... I like old man rock guitars! I can't be trusted with those pointy things, I'd put an eye out. Nice sampling!

Re: While I'm known for playing Dean Cadillacs lately...

Some days you just have to rock the real-deal. Yesterday was one such day.
I brought out the Gibson Les Pauls:

View attachment 91314

(Left to right)

1996 Les Paul Studio Gem Topaz [Duncan Vintage Bridge in neck, Custom neck in bridge]
1974 Custom shop reproduction Ace Fehley Aged Budokan [Dimarzio SuperDistortion in bridge] "Christine"
1973 Les Paul Standard Tobacco Sunburst [Dimarzio PAF neck, SuperDistortion Bridge] "Jaci"
1979 Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst [T-top neck, Duncan Distortion bridge] #1

To quote the Scorpions, "I know for me it is like - coming home!"

Nice collection! Really like that Budokan.

Not gonna lie; I have skewered the singer or bass player with the Cadillac headstocks more than once....

Re: While I'm known for playing Dean Cadillacs lately...

The Studio is my "Jazz/Blues/Rawk" guitar
The Tobacco 73 is my Classic Rock/Hard Rock guitar
The Cherry 79 is my Hard Rock/Metal guitar
And the Budokan is my Kiss guitar (Not that a 73 SuperD loaded Tobacco isn't that too....)
