I'm not really seeing it looking very good with the solid white base,,,,,,though I do like some of the silverburst OK, at least when they're faded well.

This one I seen awhile back and kind of liked the finish look,,,,,and also some of the Koa/Claro-tops with a thinner-edged well-faded burst.
