And there is another late 60's single cut model with the green metal flake that I want, but do not know the model number for it. I believe that it is called the Jet Firebird or Silver Jet Firebird, but the color is called Cadillac Green. It has double Filtertron pups and Bigsby vibrato!

I just really dig the Master Volume... You can mix your pups and then still control the overall volume!
To me... This is awesome. I wish I could do that on all my guitars.

I almost bought a mid-50's Country Club a few years back; it was going pretty cheap...wish I had. The only ones I've had were a mid-60's Annie and a really beat up DuoJet...

I've had a boner for a Gretsch for a while now.

Thought I wanted a hollow-body, but it turns out a Duo Jet is the way to go.

I've got two and have been a Gretsch fan most of my playing life. The guy I took lessons from had about 6 of them all originals and quite a few were beat to death.

My oldest is a 66 Nashville which is the duo cutaway version (not the Setzer style)
I had a 67 Double Anniversay which was like the older Nashville with the HiLo Tron pickups. But I sold it to get my Les Paul Standard which I'm Ok with.
I also have a 98 Silver Jet duo cutaway that I upped with PowerTron pickups

Really like those thick necks on those models. And the Japanese ones are very nice quality and very consistent, which you can't say about the originals.

5120 with TV classics, 1" spring and an aluminum tru-arc bar bridge. Jazz guitar #1, which is funny cause I got it to play brian setzer when I was 17.
