Who here likes sunbursts?

Hi Guys

Just wondering who here likes sunbursts? I used to hate them but recently they are starting to grow me. It seems the older i am getting the more i like them! I was dead set on the color black for every guitar but now im starting to open up the old school world of sunbursts! How about you guys?

I'm just the opposite. :laugh2: I love Tobacco Burst.

Basically, my four favorite guitar colors are, black, vintage white, red, and Sunburst. I'm not really a big quilt/flame person. They're nice to look at, but aren't my cup-'o-tea.

I have many guitars and half of them are sunbursts of one sort or another.... I always figured that if i was paying so much for a guitar i'd like to see what the wood looks like underneath as well... I love Solid colours too but i do own a lot of sunbursts

I LOVE sunbursts... I love dark bursts in general... and some lighter ones...

Vintage white looks hot right now tho...

I like sunbursts but I like single-hue natural colors more. My friends laugh at me, calling my guitars my "mom-in-law's furniture".

But back to the original question: I like bursts.

I like sunbursts, if I was going to get a strat with sunburst, it would be good 'ol 3 colour sunburst with maple or rosewood fingerboard and s/s/s

wait correct me if im wrong, but is tobacco burst just another name for vintage sunburst? I checked the gibson website and i have yet to see anything under the name tobacco burst.

Tobacco, Vintage, same thing.

I like bursts, I just sold my Charvel that was Cherry burst, and I have a Tele in Vintage.

I like the bursts Ibanez did in the 80's Like this one:

I love sunbursts, but I hate Fenders 3 tone burst. The red hue looks awful to me. I love the 2 tone Fender burst.

I like them. It is my second favorite strat color after white. Overall for most guitars I like black the most but my tastes are different for strats.
