Who likes Satin Hardware?

Not important really but, who likes this stuff? I never have, Why get primer when you can get chrome.

depends on the guitar. I think XSSIVE had a paul with satin hardware that looked great.

it feels better to me, and looks cleaner. chrome looks terrible 2 mins after it is polished. Satin, always for me.

I think it depends on the guitar... one will look quite fine with satin while another looks just damn stupid with it...

I like it ... but then againg I also prefer Black, Nickle and Gold over Chrome as well.


Just never been a big Chrome person, I prefer a more subdued look to the hardwear

The best part about satin hardware is, that it doesn't show finger prints.

Depends on the guitar, it can look great like on my AT-1 with Wilkinson and Sperzels. Or it can look like crap, depending on what the rest of the axe looks like.

I like it on the "right" guitar. Then again, the chrome is always a winner. (O.T... Why does the gold plating always seem to wear faster???)

I actually like brushed chrome better, they have some Les Pauls that way now. Looks quite modern.

I prefer Satin hardware because it doesn't "get dirty" so to speak... doesn't show fingerprints. Plus it adds this cool "aftermarket/hi-tech" look.

I agree, I'm a big fan of satin and brushed nickel hardware.

i prefer black hardware(quality stuff,cheap black wears of way too fast) but i like satin more than normal chrome.
