Last I looked no one had bid on it. You'd think he'd get a clue at some point.

The store owner is a crook and he is a few clubs short of a full deck.

Re: Who wants to tell him?

I can't stand it when people are "less than honest". Obviously, a few people have let him know that he's misrepresenting the pickup, yet he's canned response is "i'm not forcing bnobody to by it"

Nice grammer too!

Re: Who wants to tell him?

Sounds like a special comment is in order.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this man is most assuredly......an asshat.

New reply:

if the person that by the pick up wont like the deal i will refound .read my feedback ( from people that bought stuff from me ) they all happy. norms sent it to me as jb, and i know this pick up sound good, im an expirienced guitar player

but yer not en expirienced speler, ar ya?

Re: Who wants to tell him?

At this point, he's clearly trying to commit fraud. Is there a way to get his auction pulled?

I saw a For those about to rock album by Ac/Dc signed by Bob Scott!

He died nearly 2 years before that album was released.

I emailed the guy and he was shocked. He was screwed too :laugh2:

I saw on ebay a whole pile of Who Albums signed by the band members..... like 1981's Face Dances and 1982's It's Hard with Kieth Moons signature.... he died in 1978. I also know a Who collector that bought 4 gold album awards for Who albums for $400usa each off EBay only to find out later they were fakes.....

Re: Who wants to tell him?

The moral of the story? If you are going to buy pickups on ebay I think it is best to stick with overstock from a real brick'n'mortar music store... they can offer decent prices to move the items and if there is a problem they are more likely to work with you than the typical flea market amateur. A real music store is more interested in getting you to be a customer than to make a few bucks off an auction.

I've bought a few bassman heads from private parties on ebay, but I always assumed that they would not be exactly as advertised... and they never were. :( But I was going to rebuild them anyway so what the heck...

I was looking at Seth Lovers at GC a few years ago and one of the set was obviously a pull-out from a generic guitar... I brought this to the attention of the salesman who promised to pull it from the display case but two days later it was still there. :( I'm sure that GC was ripped off by someone returning the "Seth Lover" for a cash refund right after Christmas...

P.S. Did anyone check out the other auctions from Mr. Clueless? I liked the 70 foot strat pickups he was selling ("Fender stratocster ( 70' )")...
