First has one too many pickups and the second reminds me of those clear coated peaveys that are made from old wooden gradeschool desks (the T-60 that is).

Touché. How about where they put it on hollow bodies, or the lower horn. I have a bfg with the toggle there and it's totally impractical. These cost a little too much to overlook details.

I guess it is all personal preference, but I'd rather it be there than in the path of my rogue strumming hand. My old PRS had a PUP selector roughly in that area and it was never an issue. I own/have owned an ES335 and a LP style guitar and have inadvertently changed PUP positions with those guitars. I never did on my Custom 22, FWIW.

I love the position of the switch on my PRS SE --- it's a 2 knob setup.

I thought I would hate it when I first saw it, but damn, it's really natural.

i love everything about this..... absolutely everything. of course i would wire it to where i can have infinite pickup combos... but i love it. a lot.

this would be perfect without that goofy ass pickguard.
