I'm not sure who took that pic originally, but I think it's kind of funny.
As for finding friends, we can't ALL be as popular as you dudes who rack up 1,500 posts or more on internet message boards.

When I was buying this guitar in 1995 there were flamey ones in the shop. And god this one was killing all of them. In fact I compared it for more than 4 hours against all the LP inventory that shop had (like 15 16 other pauls).
When I realized 498T was killing some of the natural tone of the wood, I got myself first antiquities then them timbuckers. Then my #1 (that 95 LP standard) killed my flamey 01R8. I had to sell the R8, just like that period.
The funny thing is that I did not like honeybursts when I was buying this guitar. It sort of made me buy it. Now I love it, maybe more than my 03R8 and 04R7.

I'll nominate my Alvarez with the irridescent paintjob I gave it. Unfortunately I don't think I put enough clear on it and the humidity was too high and the place I sprayed it was too dusty. It's way too fragile! :yell: Needless to say, I'm gonna redo it. I know a guy whose got the hookup in his garage for painting cars...

Decreases the down pressure on the TOM bridge....many LP bridges have collapsed into the wood over the years due to the tension from the strings. Also allows for greater sustain and resonance. It's like the best of both worlds....combining the single bridge/tailpiece many of the early LP's had, which many say had better sustain and clarity, and the adjustable features of the TOM.
