I've loved the look of single pickup guitars forever, but I still don't own one :'( I'll have to put it on my build list!

One of several handmade guitars I built, this one has a Seymour Duncan JB. I decided for the single pick up approach to keep it simple but have toyed with the idea of a P90 in the neck position for some time (probably build another with that in mind at some point). To give it some variety I have a tap switch on it to get lower output for less chug but use the full pickup most of the time. Yes this guitar sings nicely.

They are from left to right a Squier Bullet Special named "Baby Blue", my Peavey Raptor I Raptorcaster "Annie" and my 2002 20th Anniversary Squier Bullet Special "Big Red"... All bridge 'bucker beasties, "Blue" has a zebra aftermarket 'bucker from StewMac, "Annie" used to be an SSS setup and "Red" is relatively untouched except for a different colored saddle height adjustment screw. Both Squiers wear ClipLok straps by DiMarzio.

Curious to see how many of us here on the forum are using a single pickup guitar, and if so, what type of guitar and pickup.

So let's see some pics!

Heh, there's the before pic of my destoyer! I ended up foregoing the graphics and just filled it and repainted the metallic red, then black, then sanded through in choice areas. It did have a loaned RTM in it, but I had to return it, so right now it's got a Super3. I'm going in with a Nazgul as soon as I can get the dough together.

People sure love their LP Jr's around here. I wish I had a guitar to show, but I'm not that cool yet.

I do want a single pickup guitar, probably in the super strat territory.

I just have one single pickup guitar. It's a Warmoth Soloist, with one Screamin' Demon at the neck position (where it takes on a whole different character from the normal position - I love it)
