+1. The '59 set is great. I've always liked '59s in the neck of just about any guitar, but a Jazz works really well if you like things a little brighter and with more clarity.
I had never tried a '59 bridge model until I got a Jackson Mark Morton signature model last year (it's got a '59 set with four-conductor wiring and two coil-split switches), and the sound is really sweet.
Can't go wrong with the '59 in either position, but if you find the '59 neck too muddy, go with a Jazz.
