Made a T style body out of Maple and Purpleheart - not sure what to do with it yet?

Got all the stripes glued in and trimmed the edges a little

Put it through the thickness sander ,and cut to rough shape ready for routing - purple colour will come back over the next few days

You guys are lucky. All my tools are packed away now while i renovate. its a sad time for me having to give up my space but i will come out of this with a workshop, And it had to be done to get me motivated to build it.

Last thing i made was a gift for my mum and some wood turned grenades. :headbang:

ChaoZ man you should make a matching wood jack plate for that ''evh woody''.

All routed to shape ,also done the neck pocket ,output jack cavity ,and neck + middle pickup routes

Been as busy as santa's little elves the last couple of days ,routed the truss rod channel ,glued in the truss rod with epoxy ,trimmed the fretboard to shape and used it to shape the neck too ,routed the floyd nut shelf ,and drilled the neck mounting holes + installed the neck

EASILY one of the most uniquely incredible builds I've ever seen or ever will, and that's absolutely no exaggeration. Can't wait to see more!

Yeah I thought about it - that's what I had in my original sketch, but the fretboard adds a lot of the strength to the neck ,so I didn't want to compromise that
