why do I have such an OCD with tuning?

Re: why do I have such an OCD with tuning?

well ya i didnt mean set it down and leave. I set mine down and always make sure im close enough to keep an eye on it. Or sometime i dont even set it down. I just walk around with it on

Most guys put 'em on a stand during breaks and walk over to the bar for a drink, and sure enough, and drummer climbing back to his kit will knock it over.

Guitars on stands on stages are the biggest source of damage at local gigs. Too much gear per square foot.

Ironically enough, our other guitarist had is strat fall face down onto a concrete floor because a cable hooked around the stand while breaking our stuff down last gig...Luckily it was a strat and not a broken headstock happening on a Gibson style instrument...It's horrible watching these kinds of things happening!

We teased him about sought of doing an early relic thing to his strat...Lol.Not really funny, but my guitars are the last to come out after setting up and the very first things I get off the stage/playing area while breaking things down..

We also have a rule to where somebody has to have an eye on the gear area on stage and somebody outside while handling gear,so nobody grabs our expensive stuff..
