Re: Why doesn't gibson make more blue guitars?

Sadly the only gibson I'd buy would be a semi hollow.

I dont think they make too many in blue.

The les paul I want still isnt on here. it's like a really really intense blue flame, a great shade of blue, not some crazy ass mixture.

No, that's not it. :(

the les paul had this blue colour that varied throughout, some parts were a tiny bit brighter and other parts were darker. it had a flame, the stock pickups were chrome and the surrounds were white (or at least, light coloured). I believe the knobs were basic black. it was a Les Paul Standard model, I remember seeing them a bunch in Musicians Friend catalogs years back (2003-2005). I really loved the look of those LPs.

I've never posted so much in one thread in all my life, but I love me some blue guitars!!!

I have to give a huge OMG! to this one: http://www.wildwoodguitars.com/electrics/gibson/junior/124310340/124310340.php

I'd rock that in a heartbeat

Thats the Les Paul Elegant- They also had white binding on the headstock and ebony boards. They has about 5 or 6 colors including 2 "blues" (one teal as above, one darker) a "green", and a "red". My now defunct local shop carried them all at the time.
