Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

I've played that guitar at my local GC.

Great guitar, not for me, but a great guitar nonetheless.

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

I have a buddy who has one, hates it, says it garbage, junk, wishes he never bought it, sounds horrible, cheaply made......

............Ok wait I was just trying to save your marriage......HE LOVES IT!

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

Yep, that is a hot Strat. Deluxe Strat appointments, humbucker in the bridge, mahogany body. Great variation on a classic.

And there folks, is why Duncan trembuckers come with the 3 screw mounting tabs (just in case some didn't have a clue). ;)

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

Thats pretty cool. Its such a drag finding a killer axe you really want but you just dont have the bread at the time! I'd replace the string block with the heavier vintage kind and set the bridge flush with the body if I had one of those. I bet the sustain would be great!

But sorry mate, I need all my grands for myself. God knows I barely have enough as it is! ;-)

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

sell the strat you have now and one of your wolfies and buy it!!! :naughty::scratchch:naughty:

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

It's nice, and opens up a lot of possibilities. I prefer the Strat neck and body feel a lot more than the Les Paul, so yeah, I want one too :D

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

I bet that thing is killer. You could cover a lot of ground with that. Does mahagony make it lose its strat like tone tho?

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

I have that very guitar. It is not my number one. Lots of great tones. I especially like the middle position with the s1 switch in, basically all pickups

Re: Why Fender... WHY!!!!!

Cause all that commotion for a Strat? I don't know. But, if it was a flame top 335 or Les Paul...that coulod be worth it.
