Looks like an over-circumcized Demon with odd staples... and being the sig of an unknown artist with the most flaming gay name ever probably doesn't help
If they just called it a Circumsized Demon, they'd surely do better
Good luck with that. The physical Parallel Axis format is Trembucker, and there are currently no solid-looking covers for it, and as it's a proprietary format, your order most probably will get turned down by the Custom Shop.I'm tempted to order an A8 59/C with the PA polepieces hidden away from the eye under a smooth nickel silver cover.
Unknown? He's an amazing guitar player that's been around for a long time (maybe you should look him up). And that's his real name his parents gave him when he was born. Maybe his circumcision leftovers are what became known as Adieu.Looks like an over-circumcized Demon with odd staples... and being the sig of an unknown artist with the most flaming gay name ever probably doesn't help

Possibly the hot PAF rage died off . Around 2006 I wanna say it was prohibited to even bring up a hot PAF topic. If I remember correctly the Brobucker was created because of the demand for a hot PAF from Duncan . I haven’t used the PATB3 in years but it was a great pickup , I preferred it over the Brobucker
Perfect pickup in a Floydcaster IMO. Full & sweet, and great under gain. I had a 59 and an old T-top in mine for many years and with the PATB-1n and PATB-3 the guitar became noticeably beefier, without any congested overcompressed/overwound tonality. Bought the STK for middle position too but I haven't put it in yet.
mine isnt that hot, its right around 9k. it is a great pup though. predictably i put an a2 in mine![]()
I think Blues Saraceno had a signature guitar from the Samick guitar company in the 1990's. I think it was either Alder or Basswood with a floyd bridge and maple neck? I've been eyeballing this pickup for awhile but thought it would be TOO fat. This thread has taught me a lot. I love Blues Saraceno and his first three albums were a BIG influence on me. his tone was SWEET. His dad built his amplifier called the "Dirty Boy" I believe.
Interesting! How do you like the alnico 2 in the PATB-3?
