Wilde / Lawrence L-250 - splittable?

I can't find info on whether the L-250 (which I believe is a stack not a sidewinder) can be split, does anyone know?

I'm considering one for my HSH guitar.

I'd like to split so I can use the top coil with either a bridge or neck coil for Strat in-between sounds, and I also would like to access the bottom hum-cancelling coil so I can split either the bridge or neck and cancel the hum.

No can do according to my sources.
Besides, the hum would come back and single coil hum is so last century.

The L298TL ​stack isn't, nor the L-45 so I'd guess not.

Boo. I wonder why it's not common practice to use the bottom coils of stack pickups to hum cancel for other single coils, or split humbuckers, elsewhere on the guitar

Also looking at the STK-S2. Currently the guitar is Alnico II Pro HB, SSL-5, Custom Custom

I got a 250 ML direct from Bill like 20 years ago and it was a 4-connector pickup. I am not sure about the newer ones.
