If GC took that photo and the date stamp is to be believed, that amp has been sitting around one of their stores for over half a year. I would be curious about why, such as there might be a problem with the amp.

But if the amp is in good condition, that is a great deal for someone.

I thought the exact same thing about the 50/CL that I just bought a few days ago. The one I got only needed a new PI and V1. I didn't see that one while I was looking around for the past month.
