Will switching to a brass bridge improve my tone on my hardtail?

Hey guys I currently have a hardtail strat with a standard chrome hardtail bridge with graphite saddles.

I have a brass bridge with brass saddles lying around that appears to be much beefier/heavier and a bit thicker.

My question is if I switched to the brass bridge, would I notice a difference and how would it change the sound?

Thx

Well it will sound different, but wither or not that is "better" is up to you.

Swap it out and see what'cha got.

Probably not much in a string-through body situation. The strings pulling on the ferrules probably don't care much about the material of the frame. The saddles will matter, of course.

What kind of problem are you trying to fix?

Solutions might including using better saddles instead of graphite and trying a toploader bridge.

If the whole thing is too boomy there is probably not much you can do outside a tremolo.
