Willie Nelson Tells The Story Of His Legendary Guitar, Trigger

Re: Willie Nelson Tells The Story Of His Legendary Guitar, Trigger

Cool read! Love his statement at the end "We're both pretty old, got a few scars here and there, but we still manage to make a sound every now and then."

Thanks for sharing!

LMAO!! Ran into the burning house to save the guitar and a pound of weed... The whole neighborhood woulda been stoned..

It always amazes me to see him play Trigger.. Youd think with the straps holding it together and the hole in the top, it wouldnt put out much sound.. Another thing I want to mention. Willie gets props for his songs, (writing and singing), but he doesnt get near the credit he deserves for his playing. I always thought he was one of the usual country guys that strums some as he sings.. But I saw a performance once on youtube or something and Willie was tearing up the guitar.. Mad respect given...

Thanks for putting this up Jolly!

I have to say, until watching this video I had never really listened to Willie before. Hearing him talk about the guitar and his history was really amazing, and I spent a solid 4 hours listening through some of his stuff on youtube. He seems like a genuinely great, down to earth human being and a beautiful songwriter. Thanks for posting this Jolly!

He is a class act, a visionary, a monster musician, a gifted songwriter, a unique and emotive singer and always has been.

I can't wait for the new album. Wille Nelson plays Gershwin.

Here is his first snippet from the upcoming release:
