Hi,
I am looking for a wipe on finish that can be tinted and which is compatible with the Gibson Faded finish. I want to put a cherry-tinted semi gloss finish over my faded brown SG Special. I hope in the end it will look like a faded and oxidized vintage cherry red. I'd love to use Tru-Oil, but I am not sure if it is compatible with the finish, and I don't know how to tint it. I'd like something that has more of a nitro or oil feel, not a poly/plastic finish.
