Wire the middle pu in reverse?

(stratocaster) Should the middle pu be wired in reverse? I have Di-Marzio HS3 at neck and middle positions which have hum-cancelling and an SSL-3 at the bridge which does not. I have no issues with the way it is but I thought I read something here which made me re-think. Could this also cut out some of the hum on my SSL3? Thanks - Brett

What you suggest won't work and it will throw the middle pickup out of phase with the other two.
