wiring confusion; humbucker in strat

The number of wiring diagrams I've looked at is boggling since I've never soldered anything.

This is my end goal:
I want to throw a black winter into the bridge of a hardtail strat and have a 2-way toggle to split it.

In the neck, I'll likely put a dimarzio area of some sort (guitar is intended for live use); whatever it is, I'd want it to discreetly 'see' 250K. I don't blend pickups, so there wouldn't be a case where I'd need to be blending the neck and black winter. I actually am fine with the fact that if I have a vintage output single coil it will be overpowered in relation to the black winter.

I rarely use the middle but it would be nice to have as an option. Would be fine if neck and middle had to share tone.

I have also considered a gibson style 2 volume, 2 tone setup. I do use tone controls so I would like to be able to control that for the bw as well as the neck.

Can you direct me to places that might design a wiring config for you or advise here? Many thanks.

You could use this as a starting point.

Instead of the p/p pot, just wire in your toggle to do the split. The bottom tone pot (which controls the middle pup in the diagram), just move it up one lug on the switch to control the bridge tone. For the other tone pot to control both neck and middle, wire a jumper from the lug where it is attached to the switch, to the next lug up (where the other tone pot used to be connected).

Thanks a lot man! If I'm seeing this right, it only accounts for one volume pot - what if you wanted a 500k for bridge and 250 for neck?

I've got a diagram I drew up a while ago that does that. 250k volume, 500k and either a 250k tone for the neck/middle the neck or middle alone. Or a 500k tone for the bridge. I have tried this one and it works. I've got another one in the works but I haven't tested it yet.

One 250k/500k stacked pot for the volume for all pickups, a 500k tone push pull for the coil split and humbucker tone and a 250k tone for neck/middle. So it's essentially a two volume, two tones setup but only using 3 spots on the pickguard. Again I have not tried this method but I'm pretty sure it'll work because it's a slightly modified version of the first diagram.
