I have tried looking for a thread which could help me but haven't found one yet.
I play a Schecter s-1 elite which I installed the JB/Jazz set in last summer. I have loved this guitar since I bought it, especially after I installed the SD pickups.
My current problem is I really want to set up something like Jimmy Page's wiring in my guitar. The only problem is that the S-1 only has 3 pots (2 volume, 1 tone) and a 3 way selector switch. I ordered 3 CTS 500k push/pull pots at my local guitar shop here and expect to be getting them in the next couple of weeks. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the best way to pull a similar wiring off with my set up.
I currently have both pickups set up for coil tap on the tone pot. I just really like to have the ability to get as many different sounds out of one guitar as possible. The reverse phasing and the coil tapping are things I'd like to be able to do.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
